ENG: Welcome to a guided tour with the exhibition ”The Thing With Gothenburg” at Gothenburg City Museum. The guided tour will be held in English.

In our exhibition about 20th century Gothenburg, you get to revel in our most beloved and hated Gothenburg stuff and discover aspects of the city that you never thought existed. Based on some of Gothenburg’s most iconic objects and buildings, accompanied by a chorus of voices from history, we examine the question: what exactly is the thing about Gothenburg?

I vår utställning om 1900-talets Göteborg får du frossa i våra mest älskade och hatade göteborgsgrejer och upptäcka sidor av staden som du inte trodde fanns. Med utgångspunkt i några av Göteborgs mest ikoniska föremål och byggnader, i sällskap av en kör av röster ur historien, undersöker vi frågan: vad är egentligen grejen med Göteborg?
